Back in normal dx95 mode with my usual settings, but with HDR set to None, my initial testing has not resulted in a display driver crash yet (using 275.33 whql driver). I remember there being a lot of issues way back when Vista was first released in 2007 because from Vista onwards Microsoft took the very questionable decision to break direct hardware access to the sound card - they removed DirectSound completely and this was powering most major gaming features on sound cards

i think it actually has to do with me running a raid array and in doing so the twp cp's become intertwined because of showing the array storage information. I try everything to fix this : registry and files cleaners, only GPU driver (no nforce), first nforce 15.23 after GPU driver and vice versa , erased via DOS all files (less NV raid infs) in the System32 and SysWOW64 folders,
