They said in this website that it is only theory of when the pain actually occurs. I thought these pains were me getting a bladder infections and maybe ovulation just triggers them so I just take some Cranberry pills for two days or so and the pain goes away
Ovulation Pain and Adhesions
Last year I had my left ovary removed and now the pain (feels like gas, bloating full feeling, indeed like a broom up my butt!) is back, and it radiates ALWAYS from the right side. Im 36 with two children, i have been on the pill since my last child was born so i believe the pill is not whats causing or helping this pain, its so severe that you feel you have somthing totally wrong with you.
Then in September the plan was to move forward with an artificial insemination (which neither DH or I really wanted to do; we preferred to go the natural route if possible, plus the whole thing wasn't covered by insurance so there was the financial aspect as well). So our consultant suggested doubling the clomid and, due to a thin lining, having a hcg shot just before ovulation and then pessaries after ovulation, 1 at night

Mittelschmerz may be felt on one side one month, then switch to the opposite side the next month, or it may be felt on the same side for several months in succession. Give it a try, its really worth but my advice is that you create an ovulation calendar for yourself since you are trying to conceive because only one day is not enough

The best way to conceive is having sperm ready and waiting for the egg that is released so dtd a few hours before the egg drops is best but you can still become pregnant doing it when it releases and after it releases, depending on how long that particular egg decides to live, between 12-24 hours
