I am not sure what is the photosynthetic oxygen production rate per gram biomass of cyanobacteria but it seems unlikely that its the sole catalyst for oxygenesis. Objectively there are a couple of things that make me wonder, how long have we observed and recorded global temperatures and population counts reliably?
