I replaced the 7805 and after hitting the reset button it started blinking so I pushed the reset button on the back of the remote and hit the play song button and the tree came to life. Make sure none of the boards can short out or touch each other and check with the volt meter the 24 volts where it' soldered to the board to see if you have 24 volts, if you do then check the other side of the fuse, the big yellow flat round disc thing to see if you have voltage on the other side of the fuse
