We stayed at the Game Lodge,( in the main lodge) and the room was not air conditioned, we had to ask to be moved to one of their motel rooms, it was not charming, but it was cool. By the time we reached Mt Rushmore we were exhausted and had to get to where we had reservations, but we had plenty of fun without seeing it other than from a distance
